Joan
Williams, Founder and President
Joan founded Communications Research in 1987 after working as a
consultant and sales executive at a series of Fortune 500 companies.
Upon receiving a masters degree in linguistics from New York University,
she became a top sales performer at Citibank, Chemical Bank and
Shaw Walker. Since then she has moved from building her own sales
teams to building corporate teams for other executives. As President
of Communications Research, she has developed a global practice
specializing in executive coaching, team building and strategic
planning. She is known for her ability to strategize quickly with
her clients, come up with a plan and make it happen. Her style is
strong, succinct and pleasant. Her vision of strong executives and
powerful teams fuels every aspect of our business.
Carol
Hauth, Technology Coach
Prior to CR, Carol spent twenty years as an ARCO technology professional
and ten years as an IBM systems engineer. She holds an MS in mathematics
from Fordham University and an MCSE certification from Microsoft.
Her specialties are twofold: she works with executives to assist
them in choosing the most appropriate software solutions for their
needs; and her extensive knowledge allows her to explain the technology
and functionality of complex business software to executives, regardless
of their level of expertise.
John
Williams, Director of Communications
John received his bachelor's degree from St. John's College in 1996
and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at State
University of New York. In addition to developing and validating
our testing instruments, he manages our web production team and
is responsible for our marketing initiatives.
Guy Doran,
Web Consultant
Guy
received his BS degree from USC in 1973 and has worked the past
21
years in the Information Technology industry as a systems analyst
and
software programmer for TRW, Inc., and Mattel, Inc. From pre-PC
through
Client/Server to Internet technologies, Guy has kept up with it
all. His
valuable experience in linking business needs with the latest information
technologies makes him a unique consultant for designing and developing
the
presentations in our website.
Joe
Ann Jones, Operations Manager
Joe Ann directs our administrative processes, from bookkeeping to
data processing for our 360° feedback instruments. She holds a BS
in business administration from the University of Phoenix and has
12 years of executive assistant experience with BP and 14 years
senior secretarial experience with the Los Angeles County Department
of Social Services.
Lana
Tkatchenko, Designer
Lana holds a degree in multimedia design from the Nova Institute
and is responsible for the look and feel of all of our corporate
communications. She works closely with John Williams in designing
materials that represent our corporate focus.
Aldeme
Mitchell, Administrative Assistant
Aldeme is a student at University High School in Santa Monica. She
is knowledgeable in a wide variety of office functions and assists
us in every aspect of our administration.
